My xbox 360 review

Author: mclane1991

I dont officially own an xbox as yet, but i went to my friends house who has one, just to get a sneak peek of halo 3(again, a moment of silence please, respect the master chief). Oh man oh man oh man, vibrating controllers and a bean bag and a huge tv and coca cola, the best way to play on an xbox. Right , the review part, its an awesome machine! way better than the original xbox, and certainly a lot better than ps3. I mean , graphics a jaw dropping, and it also plays hd dvd, (but ps3 has blue ray, so not much of a difference). Alongwith being an excellent console (with xbox live as its main feature), it also acts an excellent media hub,and you can get best results with an HDTV, for which i think 360 came out. Well the bad stuff about it is, xbox live is not for free, playing an hdvd requires heavy accessories, and it makes a hell of a lot of noise sometimes. but the overall exprience leaves you spellbound, you gotta get this man, you just have to have one of these babies.

Death of the VHS

Author: mclane1991

Last week i was cleaning my room, and beneath a pile of books and a whole bunch of newspapers, was 1992 model vhs player, my very first "movie viewing" device. I miss those days, coming back from school and turning on the tv and watching the lion king 3 times in a row , every single day! I lloved those big black things i called cassettes, you just slide one in and voila! ,
nowadays its all about high definition, i found an old video of toy story and played it on my vcr, and it looked like some ancient documentry, reminding me of the time when tv viewing was luxury and having a vcr meant you were rich. Its also mostly those kinds of movies that i miss, disney classics could be watched over and over and over again. Who wants to see 'alvin and the chipmunks'?
anyway,at least we get good video games, nothing can be compared to halo(a moment of silence please, respect master chief).
